Intensive Outpatient

for addiction and alcoholism

What is an Intensive Outpatient Program?

Intensive outpatient – often referred to as “IOP” – is typically utilized as a step down program for client who have completed inpatient treatment. Individuals in the intensive outpatient program attend between 9 and 21 hours of treatment per week based on the client’s personal needs and the treatment track they are assigned.

IOP continues the client with clinical therapy including group and individual therapy sessions with a primary therapist. When necessary, we also offer life skills, employment assistance, and resume building programs to prepare graduates for a sober life in the real world.

IOP is offered at the following locations

Who is IOP designed for?

Our IOP program primarily serves as a form of follow-up treatment for clients who have completed our inpatient program. An intensive outpatient rehab program is also an ideal option for individuals who require the flexibility of a treatment program that fits into their schedules.

For those who are currently employed and may not have the ability to take a leave of absence for 30-day treatment, our IOP program is ideal. Groups take place during both the morning and the evening hours, allowing for maximum convenience to everyone.

Patients in our IOP program do not live on-site and may continue to go to work or school while still receiving treatment for their addiction. If a patient chooses not to reside at a sober living facility, it is crucial that their home life is stable enough for them to return at night.
