Justin Baksh, MS, LMHC, MCAP
Chief Clinical Officer
Licensed Mental Health CounselorCertified Master’s Level Addiction Professional
Justin brings with him almost a decade of professional experience helping individuals recover from addiction. While serving in the United States Marine Corps, Justin embraced dedication, loyalty, and commitment as a way of life. This structured background and philosophy serves as the foundation of Justin’s programming implementation and development. Justin began his career in the substance abuse field as a Behavioral Health Technician while working towards his BS in Psychology. Through this early work, Justin found his true calling and enrolled in Nova Southeastern University where he obtained his MS in Mental Health Counseling. In addition to serving in multiple administrative roles, he has substantial clinical experience as a Primary Therapist.
Justin’s dedication to the clients he serves comes from an eclectic viewpoint of addiction. His holistic perspective conceptualizes addiction as a symptom of an underlying issue related to faulty core beliefs, irrational thinking, and fears experienced in life that condition an individual to resort to the use of substances to cope. Justin’s eclectic philosophy is evident in the daily programming and variety of services offered at Foundations Wellness Center.
